There are lots of weapons in crawl, some with randomly-assigned special properties such as "Blessed" which gives you an experience bonus. These properties will change the price of a weapon based on their effect. Weapons are available for purchase at the store.
Positive Properties
Blessed
Grants a variable amount of extra experience.
Barbed
More damage
Thieving
?% Chance of stealing gold.
Burning
?% Chance of fire magic.
Glacial
?% Chance of ice magic.
Swift
Fast attack speed.
Elite
High damage.
Corrupted
1.5x damage, but makes the hero insane.
Negative Properties
Awkward
Low attack speed.
Dull
Poor damage.
Unbalanced
Lower attack speed
Rusted
Less damage
Corrupted
1.5x damage, but makes the hero insane.
Magic Properties
The Sun Ray
Shoots the same ray as the Laser Trap.
The Speartrap
Summon the same spears as those from the Spear Trap.
The Rat
Shoots the Rat spirit projection.
Bloodstrike
Summon three giant swords in the direction you are facing.
